The Hoop-Tec (The Electronic Coach) named, engineered and designed by Phil Coleman, is a computer controlled electronic scoring device.
As its name implies, Hoop for the basket, and T.E.C. for The Electronic Coach, the Hoop-Tec was designed to improve the users overall scoring average.
The player simply sets the device for 40 or 80 shots. At the end of taking the set number of practice shots simply press Score and the shot percentage will be displayed on the screen.
The Hoop-Tec will beep when you reach the end of each practice session.
Simply repress the 40 or 80 shots button (which also resets the practice session) and you are off and running again with “The Coach!”
You can also store up to 10 practice sessions by simply pushing the Score button a second time after each practice session.
From the beginning player to the traveling NBA professional the Hoop-Tec is the right shot performance improvement tool for you!
The Hoop-Tec keeps track of the number of baskets taken and gives the player a digital read out of his or her average score.
The player initially sets the number of shots he/she intends on shooting for each practice session and the Hoop-Tec automatically gives the player his/her average on the last shot taken.
Given enough practice any player can improve their game.
Hoop-Tec is very easy to use! Simply slide on Hoop-Tec’s player wristband and hook the Hoop-Tec to the rim and you are ready to practice.
